End of the Year Student Celebration: May 26

End of Year Student Celebration

Our end of the year student celebration will be held on May 26th. This exciting event will include inflatables, obstacle courses, and games. Students will be eligible to play for 30 minutes. This is how students will earn their time:

The first 15 minutes:

-Score a 3 or higher on their end of the year state test for Reading and Math

-Increase their score on the state tests by at least 10 points from December

The second 15 minutes:

-Teacher recommendation based on behavior in class and school

We can't wait to share the fun with our students! Please encourage your child to work hard and follow school and classroom rules.

Our last Kona Day will be on May 26th. Please scan the code or click this link to order. Remember that cash will not be accepted in the office nor will students be called from class to pick up cash from the office. Thank you for understanding.

Summer at Your Library begins June 1!

* There will be many fun and interesting classes and events across all OCLS branches!

* Program registration will be as follows:

* Registration for June classes and programs opened May 1

* Registration for July classes and programs opens June 1.

* Goodie Bags for this summer are packed with lots of fun items. Participating readers (ages 0-18) who complete the reading challenge by reading 30 days between June 1 and July 26 can pick up a goodie bag at any branch starting July 1, while supplies last.

* We have amazing Grand Prizes for our reading challenge, too! Readers (ages 0-18) who complete the challenge by July 26 will be entered into the virtual drawing for a chance to win a grand prize.

* There is also a bonus challenge! Complete the bonus activities for an extra chance to win a grand prize!

* Participants must turn in their completed reading tracker page and grand prize entry form by July 26, 6:00 PM, to be entered into the drawing.

* All 15 library locations will host events to celebrate summer and reading!

* Visit the Orange County Library Systems for details on the reading challenge, live events, grand prizes, and more!

Clinic Donations Needed

We are in need of pants for boys and girls in sizes 4-12. Please donate any new or gently used clothing if you can. Thank you!
